We CONTROL Weeds!
We KILL Weeds!
We STOP Weeds!
Here are a few key things that we CAN DO that most landscapers or weed control companies frequently CAN NOT DO for you:
1. They can’t kill Bermuda grass (because it takes a special chemical treatment). Even industrial versions of round-up don’t keep this problem at bay (Even after multiple treatments). Seeds dump from seed heads to the ground when you try to pull it up (not to mention broken tap root re-growth), runners grow roots from segments of the grass. Seed growth, stolons and rhizomes are mainly what make this Bermuda grass so hard to kill. Even when you pull it near the roots, another seems to come up in its place.
2. They can’t kill Nutsedge Grass (because it takes a special chemical treatment). The V-shaped leaf holds spray, but the leaf seems thicker than a normal grass and a smooth waxy surface. Even industrial versions of round-up don’t seem to keep this problem at bay either (Even after multiple treatments). Seeds dump from seed heads to the ground when you try to pull it up (not to mention tap root re-growth). A form of rhizome (known as a nut) grows out in a radius from the original plant. Then those plants grow a nut in a radius …and so on. Even when you pull it near the roots another seems to keep coming up in its place.
3. They can’t place Pre-emergent (also known as preemergent or seed growth sterilizer) as a solution for on-going weed problems. Landscapers often try to secretly buy this product from licensed weed control companies (They have often approached me for such a purchase, but I can’t sell it to them.) Without a weed-control business license they are prohibited by law to apply more than 8 gallons at a time to any property. (I wouldn’t want that broken law traced back to me.)
4. They can’t meet customer expectations when it comes to quality. All of our weed control technicians are golf-course certified. The standard of great looking golf courses is often much higher than average resident. That’s our background and what you can come to expect from our technicians.
5. Most weed control companies don’t use pre-emergent when they do service for you. After all that costs them extra and they are banking on the low likeliness for rain in Arizona, but what happens when they get unexpected rain? They scramble to catch up on their warrantee services and can’t get yours in to be scheduled because they were unprepared. Now they are backed up because they didn’t want to use the appropriate material to prevent the potential problems.
6. We use only the highest quality weed control materials with a longer lasting residual so less frequent treatments are required. Less material applied means less impact on the environment as well.
7. We give longer results with a single treatment than any monthly service provider who has to inconvenience you with scheduling and confirming monthly service appointments three times per quarter. Fewer appointments means less hassle.
